The trunk is stamped "MN" in black on one end, "FRH – Shoe Trunk" painted in red on the lid and has a White Star Line label on another end. The brass lock and clasps still work although there is no key. The leather side handles are broken but present. Measures 35 ½ in. long x 19 ½ in. tall x 15 in. deep. It exhibits minor wear but remains in remarkably good condition. Includes a LOA stating the trunk was acquired from Julia Benson, Mabel Normand's nurse and longtime companion.
