1064. Large Da Vinci glider flown by Bruce Willis "Hudson Hawk" in Hudson Hawk. (TriStar, 1991) This meticulously built prop glider is based on a design by Leonardo Da Vinci, and was one of the key historical artifacts stolen by master cat-burglar, "Hudson Hawk", played by Bruce Willis. This impressive prop glider measures 5 ft. tall x approx. 10 long from nose to tail and features a full 25 ft. wingspan. It is constructed of a pliable, sturdy fabric stretched over a plywood frame with a complex system of pulleys with rope, completely hand-detailed to appear like age-worn stretched leather and materials which would have been available to Da Vinci. The glider sits on a custom-made rolling base, with partial detachable wings for easier movement. A breathtaking piece of prop machinery, the attention to detail is truly remarkable. It exhibits some wear with cracking and fabric tears; otherwise, very good condition. Comes with a COA from TriStar Pictures. Special shipping arrangements are required for this large piece.
