dating: Second quarter of the 20th Century provenance: Bulgaria, Curved, single-and false-edged blade, tip, with fuller for three quarters, engraved until the half with motto 'PER LO ZAR E LA PATRIA' (in Cyrillic) on the right side, floral and geometrical decorations on the left, frame with crowned monogram of the Tzar Boris III, surmounted with Bulgarian crown. Brass hilt with remains of gilding. Front langet loaded with Bulgarian Order of Merit for Bravery, the back one is numbered. Guard with Bulgarian arms on the back, surmounted with a crown and collar, in relief. Cap shaped as lion's head, with red, stone eyes. Brown grip. Probably of German production. Leather sword-knot. Iron scabbard with one lug. Scarce. length 91,2 cm.
