ASSORTED FLOW BLUE FLORAL MOTIF CERAMIC ARTICLES, LOT OF 21, including three bowls having patterns including "Trent" and "Wildrose", three saucers featuring patterns including "Clyde" and "Mercer", and fifteen plates with patterns including "Florida", "Tourine", "Bonita", "Sevres", "Delph", "Windsor", and "Smyrna". Having various printed and impressed marks. Wood & Son, Burslem; W. Adams & Co., Tunstall; New Wharf Pottery Co., Burslem; W.H. Grindley & Co., Tunstall; Stanley Pottery Co., Burslem; Elsmore & Forster, Tunstall, England; La Francaise Porcelain, OH; The Wheeling Potteries Co., Wheeling, WV. Second half 19th/first half 20th century. Plates 6" to 10 5/8" D; bowls 1 3/4" HOA, 4 7/8" to 6 3/4" D.
Sixteen undamaged, except some examples with moderate crazing, loss of gilt and/or enamel decorations, and expected short scattered scratches to interior from use; one saucer with radial hairline and one having painted over flakes to rim; "Florida" plate with rim hairline and chip, Wheeling Potteries plate with chip to rim, and one Wood & Son example with moderate flake and multiple rim hairlines.
Provenance: Property deaccessioned by The Strong National Museum of Play in Rochester, New York, to benefit the collections fund.

Condition
