ASSORTED SHELF / CARRIAGE CLOCKS, LOT OF THREE, comprising a Chauncey Goodrich, which belonged to William Rich Hutton, and Ansonia Clock Co. shelf clocks, and a M. Kirk & Son carriage clock, each with pendulum and key present. Carriage clock is stamped on the back "Made in France" with arched arrow, and engraved on the underside "L.G.R. for R.F.R. / 1904". Fourth quarter 19th/first quarter 20th century. Goodrich 15 1/2" H.
Pendulum for Goodrich example is detached but both pieces are present, minor losses to the case and interior label, glass is detached from carriage clock door but present, Unknown working condition (see Catalogue Guarantee).
Provenance: Historic property descended in the Clopper-Hutton family, "The Woodlands", Montgomery Co., MD.
Catalogue Note: Carriage clock was given to Louisa Gilmore Riach by her father.
