Graeco-Roman period, ca. 2nd century BCE to 3rd century CE. A fine circular bracelet composed of a thick, rolled silver band with flattened ends. Each terminal has a flared, diamond-shaped profile which is formed by carefully hammering the ends. The termini are embellished with dozens of small notches along the outer edges. A wearable example of ornate yet uncomplicated Graeco-Roman fashion! Size: 2.8" Diameter (7.1 cm); quality of silver: 87%; total weight: 17.6 grams.
