This is an original first release rare authentic “The Fugitive” movie poster from circa 1933. The movie starred Rex Bell and Cecilia Parker and was released July 15, 1933. This western Cowboy movie was filmed entirely in Santa Clarita, California. In the movie, undercover Rex and outlaw Bob Kortman break out of prison to recover hidden loot on George Hayes’ ranch. This poster shows Rex Bell, with his gun drawn protecting Cecilia Parker from Dutch sneaking around the corner. This wonderful original movie poster shows bright colors and graphics and is framed in an original early 1900’s quarter sawn oak frame, a truly artistic and wonderful addition. The poster was created by Joseph H. Tooker Litho Company of New York the very same company who created the John Wayne poster for Paradis Canyon in 1935 which is valued at $12,000. The set is truly in excellent condition and one of the best Western Cowboy movie posters we have offered for sale. The frame measures 33 1/2" x 47 1/2". The visible poster area measures 25 1/2" x 38 1/2".
