Circa 1840, Edgefield, South Carolina likely Stoney Bluff and Slave made. The nicely formed ovoid jug having a double ring spout aside thickly pulled and applied handle. The glaze having nice runs and is well fired. There is a stable hairline running from side to side of the piece. This looks to be a firing crack as made. Otherwise good condition.
