The mother and cubs can be imagined walking in folly along the bank of a roaring river. They all look out at the viewer with an enigmatic almost calm manner as one of the cubs jumps on the mothers back hoping to play. In the Native American spiritualistic beliefs the bear totem signifies primal power, motherhood, cunning, healing, gentle strength, dreaming, and sovereignty, intuition married with instinct, nurture and protection. The handmade bronze sculpture was cast using the age-old method of lost-wax casting and stained with a brown patina finish for preservation and it is mounted upon a marble base. Bronze Dimensions with Marble Base: Height 13 X Width 12 inches. Weight: 16 LBS.
