An exceptional Amri-Nal bowl from the Indus Valley, c. 3200 - 2600 BC, featuring a pair of Brahma bulls separated by plants and surrounded by a variety of symbols. This slightly corseted jar stands on the characteristic ring base and has paper-thin walls. Dia: 3 3/4 in (9.5 cm). Strong paint and good mineral encrustation. Ex UK private collection.
