Christian Dior by Marc Bohan Haute Couture Dress and Shoes, Spring-Summer 1965
Worn by Dame Olivia de Havilland
Light blue long dress with draped design over a boned inner bodice. The main seams of the ensemble are sewn by machine while the inside, finishing stitches are done by hand. Thin shoulder straps support the draped design, which pulls into a large bow at the center back. The havily boned bodice closes down the center back with numerous hooks and eyes. The dress closes down the center back with a zip. The matching shoes are made of a ribbed fabric with a pointed toe and stiletto heel.
