Description
Comprising: a mahogany standish with two glass ink jars, the bottom of the drawer marked "Writing Desk of Eaton", and the jars also marked "Eaton", 8" x 5 1/2" x 4 1/2"; an early 20th century mahogany tool caddy, 21" x 7 1/2" x 7"; two miniature bronze busts, Shakespeare and John Milton, marked for F. Barbedienne, each approximately 3" x 1 1/2" x 4 1/4"; a backgammon set in a faux book form case, 17" x 9 1/2" x 3 1/4", with leather exterior and interior, and gilt tooling, included is a 1930 Milton Bradley rule book, but it does not appear to belong to this set.

Provenance: From a local estate.
Condition
The standish has some scratches and minor abrasions; the tool caddy also has scratches and abrasions, and is alligatored; the backgammon set case shows fairly significant surface wear on the exterior and interior, such as rubbing to the leather, scratches, and abrasions, and there is a magnetic pen holder that has become detached. The busts are in excellent condition. The backgammon set is complete and has extra pieces.
