Ca.900 AD. Interesting wearable Viking Silver Lunar Pendant representing the Moon crescent. In Norse Mythology the constellations signified mystery and power. The Moon was personified as "Mani", brother to "Sol" the Sun. Lunar pendants were usually worn as pectorals as well as suspended from belts, other clothing and horse harnesses. It has a uniform surface.
