Egypt, Ptolemaic Period, c. 350-330 BC. Inscriptions of praise for the deceased which identifies him as a "priest of Maat, the son of Webenese", (Webenese, the mother of the deceased, named twice in the inscription). A large and impressive example, with beautifully painted glyphs. Height: 144.8cm (57in). Rhode Island collection.
