Large group of tintypes, CDVs and cabinet cards from the Adams and Bridge families of Hazardville, Connecticut, ca. 1850-1890: (1) Large leather bound presentation album inscribed on the front in gilt letters "M.E.S.S. Missionary Society to Henry Adams, Prest., Hazardville, Conn." Within are approximately 170 images of members of the Adams family and, through the marriage of Henry D. Adams to Ruth Smith Bridge, the Bridge family. Most images are identified. (1) Octavo size album with ornamental covers containing (46) images of the Adams family and relatives, (11) cased tintypes and 22 other photographs, including a tintype of an unidentified private in Company G of the 42nd Massachusetts Regiment, (7) cabinet cards of various sizes taken ca. 1890 of the "G.L. Adams Coal and Wood" business; (2) CDVs--one of Abraham Lincoln and another of Washington and Lincoln together in heaven
