Dimensions: 8-1/2" H x 8" W

Chinese Qing Dynasty gilt bronze cloisonne Enamel Tripod Censer, with design of scrolling leafy tendrils suspending night lotus blossoms surrounding the centralized red lotus bloom. It is supported on three cabriolet legs emerging from gilt lion masks, rising to a prominent waisted neck further to a banded rim. Flanked by a pair of curved up swept handles on the sides, decorated with key fret pattern. All embellished with further multi-colored lotus scrolls.

Mark on base, an embossed four script -KaiShu- characters reign mark, enclosed within square frame border, Qianlong Reign Period.


Over all in EXCELLENT condition. Traced numerous tiny-holes of corrosions on enamel filling, No missing wires found on cloisonne works. With normal anomalies in nature, sign of stressed surface, minor scratch & dents. Surface traced wear and or declined to gilding. . Normal, consider ages and wear.
