A nice Egyptian bronze figure of Osiris, Late Period, c. 664 - 332 BC, depicted mummiform, wearing Atef crown with large solar disk, uraeus and false beard, arms folded at chest and holding a crook and flail. 5 7/8 in (14.9 cm). Nicely detailed with an attractive red brown patina, large lucite block base. Ex Pennsylvanian private collection acquired in 2002; Ex North Carolina private collection.
