An Egyptian faience ushabti with remnants of inscriptions, 3rd Intermediate Period, 22nd Dynasty, c. 945 - 715 BC, depicted mummiform wearing tripartite wig, arms crossed at chest and holding a pick and how, remnants of hieroglyphic inscription down the front of the legs in black. H: 4 1/2 in. (11.3 cm). Surface weathering mounted on black lucite base. Ex Surrey, UK private collection.
