The rarest button in the auction. A large Oval Gay 90.
This is probably the rarest and certainly the most prestigious one. The Gay 90 Scarab or bugs are always sought after, but this one is so rare in buttons as it is a FROG and it is a large oval. The center body of the FROG is popper glass and the brass mounting is very ornate. The eyes of the frog are green pastes and the button is further enhanced with red pastes interspersed along the border. Absolutely a true gem of a button. This button is worth the investment as its so RARE.
