Description

A pair of red Everlast boxing gloves signed by former Heavyweight champions Muhammad Ali and Joe Frazier at the top of each glove in gold using metallic paint pen. Born Cassius Marcellus Clay Jr. and nicknamed “The Greatest,” Ali is known as the greatest boxer of all time and as one of the greatest athletes of the 20th century. Ali and Frazier fought three times throughout their careers, with Ali winning two of the three matchups. In their first match, labeled the “Fight of the Century” and taking place in New York City’s Madison Square Garden in March 1971, "Smokin' Joe" won in 15 rounds via unanimous decision. The second fight took place in 1974 in New York City, with Ali winning via unanimous decision. The third and final fight took place in the Philippines in 1975 and was called the “Thrilla in Manila.” That match still stands as one of the most watched television broadcasts. Ali won with a 14th round technical knockout. Accompanied by a letter of authenticity from JSA.
