A rare 19th century French Bronze Sculpture by AUGUSTIN JEAN MOREAU BAUTHIER titled 'FORTUNA' signed Moreau Vauthier, with Paris France Barbedienne foundry marks, parcel gilt contrasted with a rich brown patina, featuring Fortuna with cornucopia in one hand and lyre in the other, standing on the world flanked by a cute pair of winged angel putti raised a wiping cloud. This work is 100% original 19th century French and represents the height of the quality bronze making that this era and is know for by renowned Barbedienne foundry in the heart of Paris France.
