United States, "Michael Jackson" photographic print (6/25), signed by photographer Brad Elterman on verso, 1978 CE. A large-format black and white photograph of the King of Pop, the late Michael Jackson (1958-2009). The photographer Brad Elterman narrates the story behind this photo, "One evening back in 1978, I was with Michael Jackson at the old Chasen's Restaurant at the corner of Dohney and Beverly Blvd. It was some sort of a Gold Record party and the place was mobbed. Michael had enough of the crowd and we headed out to the sidewalk where one or two fans were hanging around. Michael stood next to the wall, took a deep breath, relaxed and I shot some photos. Chasen's was torn down years ago and today is a Bristol Farms supermarket. You can go there. You can stand on the sidewalk at the exact location where young Michael once stood so tall and handsome." An amazing image of MJ in one of this iconic looks - bow tie, black tux, glittery shirt, and patent leather shoes - sporting a dancelike pose, taken during the "Off the Wall" era! Size: image measures 17.75" L x 12" W (45.1 cm x 30.5 cm); 25.125" L x 21.125" W (63.8 cm x 53.7 cm) including mat and frame
