Group of two carved coconuts. One coconut bank carved with birds, Trinidad, ca. 19th c. One coconut carved with musical instruments, a lion's head, and a shield, ca. late 18th c. An early paper label adhered to the interior reads "French cocoa nut said to have been carved by a galley slave." Dimensions: Height: 2 in x width: 5 1/4 x depth: 3 in.
