NEW ENGLAND AND OTHER AMERICAN COIN SILVER TEASPOONS, LOT OF 19, comprising a set of six retailed by Whitney & Osgood of Lewiston, ME (active c.1871-1872), a set of five by W.W. Wilson, a set of five by Otis Howe of Massachusetts and New York (active c.1814-1825), one by Pangborn & Brinsmaid of Burlington, VT (active 1833-1843), and a pair with fruit basket patterned handles by William C. Dusenberry of New York, NY (active 1819-1835), each with personalized engraving to handle. Each with maker's or retailer's mark. Total weight: 8.595 ozt. 19th century. 5 1/2" to 6 1/4" L.
Good to very good overall condition with wear and surface scratches, most with other imperfections including denting to bowls, worn bowl tips, and slight bending to handles; one Otis Howe example with a split to center of stem.
