SHENANDOAH VALLEY OF VIRGINIA WALNUT CORNER CUPBOARD, two-piece construction, upper section with applied molded cornice, above one door, with 12-panes of glass, concealing three fixed shelves with plate rests and central shelf with spoon rests, doors with likely original H-hinges, lower section with one drawer flanked by panels with carved corner fan decoration, over one paneled-door concealing one fixed shelf, raised on an applied cut-out bracket foot base. Yellow pine secondary. Retains an old-refinished surface with warm color. Late 18th/early 19th century. 91 1/4" H, 45 1/4" W, 24" corner.
Very good overall condition, old repairs to cornice, scattered breaks to panes of glass, and with areas of expected usage wear.
