Chinese Qing Dynasty Kangxi oxblood red monochrome porcelain horseshoe water pot. Porcelain water pot potted in a bell shaped body, deep curvature, of a deep vessel, round straight upward to form the small opening rim, with small round flat foot base rim. All reserved masterfully covered in an even coat of a iron red glaze which terminates at the base to reveal the pure white underglaze. The iron red glaze creates a mottled effect around the rim which is likened unto the blushing of human skin. The immaculate porcelain body covered with a characteristic silky glaze. The clay is very fine, with a brilliant glaze finish that was applied by a meticulous, the shape is uniformly proportioned.

The Under-base bears a reign mark, a horizontal six underglaze blue script characters reign mark, Made In The Years of Kangxi Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
