Six large Lesghi star devices in changing colour combinations have been arranged into a design bar in the midnight blue field. Many small flowers, birds and horsemen depicted in a miniature format fill the ground. The field is surrounded by a narrow border adorned with a meandering band and a white border of stepped polygons in diverse colours. The main border is embellished with diagonal stripes and flanked by two guard stripes. A very fine weave typical of Shirvans, white cotton selvedges. – Good condition, slightly corroded brown, original selvedges.
