A pair of polychrome heads from saintly or beneficent demon figures, Romano-Egypt, 6th - 7th Century AD, with triangular wreaths framing the heads, which are in relief with detailed hair. The pieces have preserved paint with radiating black lines and holes pierced at for earrings. H: 2 5/8 in (6.7 cm) & 2 3/4 in (6.9 cm). Both with mineral deposits. Ex Massachusetts private collection acquired in the mid-1900's.
