Oil on cardboard painting, entitled "Malinovka July" and dated 1970 with dimensions in Cyrillic, verso. Unsigned by Tolkunov Nikolay Pavlovich (1917-1996, Russian). 31.5 x 50 cm (12.4 x 19.7 in). Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Tolkunov Andrei Petrovich, grandson of the artist, Tolkunov Nikolay Pavlovich. Tolkunov Nikolay Pavlovich was an honored artist of the RSFSR. In 1942 graduated from Moscow Art Institute, studied under S.V. Gerasimov. Participated in all-union, republican and regional art exhibitions since 1938. Gave lectures at V.I. Surikov Moscow State Art Institute since 1960. The works of the artist are exhibited in the Russian State Museum, in many regional museums, and in collections abroad.
