First state of the author's first book (with typo in Illustrations list) Typographical error indicates last illustration at page 212 - it's really page 122. ; issued February 1910. A satirical sketch of the Smart Set by the eldest son of New York World publisher Joseph Pulitzer (a year before assuming control, on his father's death); a portrayal which struck a decidedly unpleasant chord on high.
