The Portrait of a Champion

This is a portrait of Moses Siegel, a New York pushcart peddler, 79 years old, who claims the long distance Thrift Championship. Eer since December, 1917 he has purchased at least one War Savings Stamp every week. He is here shown just as he appeared at the Federal Reserve Bank to convert his 1919 Stamps into one of the new $1000 Treasury Savings Certificates. It Pays To Save Regularly.
