This picture shows the first two children in America, a far as is known to purchase $100 Treasury Savings Certificates, with their own savings. At the head of the line is Miss Pearl Adar, Age 8 and next to her stands Miss Sylvia Fass, age 13. Both girls are pupils at Public School No 188, New York City.
