White-colored slip glazed stoneware storage jar with red-brown slip interior, stenciled "2" over "E P Co" in cobalt blue on the side, indicating possible manufacture by Etruria Pottery Co. of Trenton, NJ or Erie Pottery Co. of Erie, PA, circa late 19th century. 12" tall, 8.5" dia. Shows 4" hairline crack from rim, with 6" hairline crack intersecting, with chips and nicks. Ex: Curtis R. Booker family collection.
