Item Details

Description

An oval example with etched floral decoration and reeded rim, fully removable grille, marked "TH", possibly Thomas Harper, London, 1797; an egg form undecorated example, with pierced and etched floral decorated grille, retains sponge, only part of the maker's mark is visible, possibly Joseph Willmore, Birmingham, 1808.

Dimensions: 1 3/8" x 1 1/8" x 3/8"; 1 1/4" x 7/8" x 3/8". The combined weight is 0.93 troy ounce.
