Description
(International buyers should note that several countries do not allow the importation of lots containing materials made from endangered species. This includes, but is not limited to, ivory, coral and tortoiseshell. Please familiarize yourself with relevant import and customs regulations prior to bidding). The top pavilion supported by four tiers with ivory and mother of pearl red lacquered panels depicting Han warriors, generals, geisha and samurai, with painted beauties on the verso. Each tier with glass sides and mirrored backs; phoenix and flame finials; and painted scenes depicting lotus, dragons and boys. Both pagodas raised on legendary bird supports. 119"H x 57"W x 40"D, Circa - Late 19th C.
