World War One, Germany, Red Baron grouping, in 2 notebooks; Notebook #1: (1) Original typed letter signed dated 5 April 1955 from Baroness Von Richthofen speaking of her son Manfred; (1) Translation of the letter; (10) b/w photos of Baroness Von Richthofen, son Manfred, his grave, and pose with brother Lothar Von Richthofen; (1) copy of letter from aviation historian Dale Titler to historian Charles Donald describing the letter and offering it as a donation; (1) Letter from Charles Donald to Dr. Walter Powell discussing his Red Baron collection; (1) copy of magazine article entitled "The Final Dogfight of the Red Baron" written by Dr. Walter V. Powell for "Warbirds" (July 1985).;_x000D_
Notebook # 2: (187) Images, some colorized and some black & white, of the Red Baron's career, including his wounding, hospitalization, and later, his death. Many photos of his aircraft, postmortem views of Richthofen, his funeral, gravesite, and more. These were reproduced from a variety of archival sources._x000D_
