World War One, US grouping of fifteen pieces relating to the careers of American pilots Harrold R. Harris and Robert Lowell Moore. Harris, a native of Chicago, was one of the foremost test pilots of the era, holding 26 aviation records, including the first to fly in a pressurized cockpit and the first to fly over the Alps. His binder includes (1) autographed postwar photo; (1) typed letter signed sent to Dr. Walter Powell in December 1984; (1) WWI Service Record form filled out by Harris; (1) short handwritten note by Harris dated 2 Nov. 1984 on "Cross and Cockade" stationery; (1) copy of address given by Harris to the Connecticut Aeronautical Association on 12 October 1974; (1) copy of address given by Harris to the New England Section, AIAA, Cambridge, MA on May 18, 1982 entitled "Early Days of Flight Testing in the U.S.;" (1) copy of letter from Harris to the 2750th Air Base Wing Historian at Wright-Patterson AFB on 28 Jan. 1982; (1) Copies sheets noting "Aircraft Piloted by HRH, 1917-1925," American Air Records held by Harris, and "HRH Piloting, 1917-1925."_x000D_
