Written in Amharic and Gelawudios, purchased in 1945 in Addas-Abba by C. Kermit Ewing, Head of Art Department, UT Knoxville, from a consular officer who purchased the book in 1925, written in Ethiopian 58 pages of images showing the history of Ethiopian Left Handed Mohammed with dealings with Christians. Included are civil dealings, beheadings, burning of buildings, celebrations all painted on goat skin. The skin sizes are close to 9" tall by 7" wide and are loosely held between 2 wooden boards. The condition for the origin and age are good with about 6 images that have surface damage from sticking together which is not bad for a folk book close to 100 years old.
