Alexander Kincaid was a famous 18th-century Scottish printer who is best known for printing works of David Hume, John Milton, Adam Smith, and a fine edition of the Holy Bible. Scottish Bibles from the 18th-century are notably rare and this example is no exception. Published in 1762, this Bible differs from other bibles from this era in that it is published in a square shape.
