    Showing parts of Brewster, Presidio, Jeff. Davis, and El Paso couties, and south of the Southern Pacific RR. Area along and north of the Rio Grande del Norte from Fort Hancock (abandoned) and following the Texas & Pacific Railroad to just past Eagle Flat. Thence with the Galveston Harrisburg & San Antonio Railway as northern limit from Bonanza Mine in Quitman Mtns. past Van Horn Mtns. where Rio Grande Northern R. R. to San Carlos is abandoned. Vieja Mtns. and Ryan Flat down to Chinati Mtns. are on the 'Marfa Sheet' with large granite outcroppings and mines with named ranches:Pool's, Lovo's, Cibolo, and Cienega. Alpine Sheet includes Cathedral mt. Whirlwind Mesaand Mitchell, McIntyre, Haley's , Crosson and other ranches. South of Green Valley are Solitario Peak and Canyon,in Black Range with mines around Terlingua. Contrbando Waterhole, Coltrin's Camp and Dryden's Brickyard are also in this area above Grand Canyon. The Cisos Mtns has many intrusive and lava peaks and mesas including Goat, Kit , Rattlesnake, Burro and Chili Cortal. The map concludes with this Big Bend country. A strip of browning lies outside the map's intense geologic coloration. A truly striking large display map.
