Native American, Southwestern United States, Navajo, ca. mid to late 20th century CE and Latin America, Mexico, Taxco, ca. early to mid 20th century CE. A wonderful selection of four pairs of high-grade (95%) sterling silver earrings set with a variety of different stones and materials. First are two ovoid earrings with etched scalloped motifs and set with banded agate cabochons. Second are two Taxco circular earrings with inlaid nacre that forms six-pointed stars. Third are curved triangular earrings with etched zigzags and petite turquoise cabochons. Fourth are crescent-shaped earrings set with several slender turquoise slivers in individual bezels. Size of largest (crescent): 1.25" W (3.2 cm); quality of sterling silver: 95%; total weight: 35.7 grams.
