Charming vase made at University of North Dakota School of Mines, known in the Arts & Crafts world as UND.
This flaring vase with a sloped shoulder is hand thrown, with carved decoration. The piece is glazed in cobalt blue, carved back to the buff colored clay and glazed.
The pieced appears to be signed "Jacoue," although it might possibly be "Jacque." Dated 3/22/51.
Excellent condition. Measures about 4" at the widest diameter by 3" high.
