Note: While best known as a painter, Leroy Neiman produced a few bronzes in the 1980s. Harlequin of 1983 is a rare edition of only 35 with 9 additional artist proofs - each uniquely painted with colorful highlights of the costume. The sculpture carries the imagery of the harlequins and jesters seen in Neiman's paintings and prints from the period with direct relation to his 1983 serigraph entitled "Harlequin Bergamo."
