ENGLISH STAFFORDSHIRE TRANSFER-PRINTED ROMANTIC MOTIF IRONSTONE TABLE ARTICLES, LOT OF SIX, comprising a covered open-handled sugar featuring figures fishing with nets and city on left, and a pitcher having figures and swans, each having blue transfer designs, and a covered sauce tureen with underplate having "Vintage" pattern, as printed to undersides, with gilt highlights, having ladle, together by association, and a pitcher featuring sailboat and figures fishing with nets, each with black transfer decoration. Sauce tureen attributed to J. Meir & Son, Tunstall, England. Second/third quarter 19th century. Tureen and underplate 6 5/8" HOA.
Four undamaged, except most having some wear to handles, rims, and finial; sugar having flake to interior gallery and moderate crazing.
