An amazing large size Greek Apulian wide-mouthed bell krater; The krater depicts a standing female holding an offering tray and wheat stock to the reverse possibly a young Dionysius also holding wheat stock and offering tray. Good condition; repaired; 240x270mm; 9.456x 10.638 in; 1671g; Provenance: Property of a central London Ancient Art Gallery; previously obtained from a British private collection formed in the 1980s in Kent.
