A NAPOLEON III ORMOLU-MOUNTED MARBLE MANTEL CLOCK, RAINGO FRERES, PARIS, CIRCA 1870
modelled as a pair of maidens holding out grapevines to a pair of flanking putti suspending them onto baluster-form vases, with scrolling acanthus leaf decoration throughout, the white enamel dial with Roman numeral hours and minutes, signed Raingo Frere / Paris, supported by six feet and a pair of resting lions, with winding key; overall dimensions: 66.5 (h) x 58 (w) x 22 (d) cm (26 1/8 x 22 7/8 x 8 5/8 in.)
