SWIRL, Latticinio core. One of the rarest latticinio core swirls I have ever seen. Left-twist three-layer true blue latticinio core swirl. The core is robust blue latticinio. Middle layer is three bands of pink on yellow with a green center. Outer layer is a tight cage of white strands. Distinct left-twist. The pontil is faceted. Exceptional surface. The only defects I can note are a very tiny crease at the bottom pontil and an extremely tiny sparkle. Amazing marble. I have never seen a three-layer left-twist blue latticinio before. This marble is a fine jewel in handmade collecting. Germany, circa 1870-1915. 9/16". Mint (9.6). The marbles in Lots 2 through 6 are all from a single small collection.
