Description
A group of ancient bronze and ceramic objects. Lot includes a Near Eastern bronze bracelet, c. 1000 - 600 BC, of solid construction with incised lines and snake head terminals, W: 2 7/8 in (7.3 cm). Also included is a bronze arrowhead, c. 3rd - 2nd Century BC, and a pair of ceramic fragments, one from a large Greek transport amphora. Largest fragment measures 4 ½ x 3 ¾ in (11.4 x 9.5 cm). Ex Gagne collection, San Francisco, acquired in the 1960's while working as a flight attendant for PanAm airlines; thence by descent.
