John Prentice original ink on board Cartoon Strip for "Rip Kirby" of 3 frames, the center with Ben Day Dots; signed and dated 11-22 and inscribed "To Warren - With Best Wishes-John Prentice" along bottom margin with King Features Syndicate copyright for 1962; framed. Height of art 7 1/8 inches (18 cm.) X width of art 19 3/4 inches (50 cm.). NOTE: John Prentice took over the illustration of the popular Sunday Comic Sgtrip Private Detective (with glasses) "Rip Kirby" in 1956 upon the death of Alex Raymond (1946-1956) and continued until 1999 starting to also author the strip in the mid 1980's
