Lot 0003 Details
Circa 1820, Edgefield, South Carolina, attributed to Pottersville. The honey-tone pot has a very ovoid form with a nicely shaped rim above bulbous body. Lower body having a line impression and upper body with a single punctuate mark. The piece has a very tight and stable hairline at one side into the upper mid body which is undetectable when on shelf for display. Otherwise good overall condition. H8" Discovered by the current owner several decades ago in Camden, South Carolina.
